What is this server?
Shields and scales is a server for all kinds of Roblox role players who are looking to expand their roleplaying experience and community. We welcome artists, roleplayers, and dragon fans!
What is required?
Our verification process varies depending on user preference. If a user would like to participate in our long or short roleplays, they will need to verify themselves through an audition process. If a user is looking to join a dragon loving community, we have a much easier verification process We now have a visitor role! With this role you’ll be able to join our server and spectate our channels to see how we work and to see where you’d best fit in! There is no process to gain this role!
What’s inside?
in our server we’ve separated our categories to match our user’s interests the most! We host long and short term roleplays through Distant Isles. Every so often, plots will be voted upon and sessions are hosted whenever a staff member is available to host. With long term roleplays we have 2 forms of character introductions and a relationship chart that is updated after every session.For non roleplayers we have tons of interest related channels for you to share your creations and chat about your interests. We’re looking to host more community availabile events to make SnS fun and engaging.We take all forms of feedback and we’d love to hear from you!

Our official long term plot
This plot will change every new roleplay
After crops and livestock have been continuously going missing, the Vikings start to struggle, with not enough food and winter right around the corner. A group of Vikings choose to set out and venture to find the source of where everything is going missing. But the source is right under their noses, a cave full of dragons and… missing Vikings? They discover long lost Vikings who’d been assumed dead, but instead they’d been living under the island with dragons, why…? (Humans and dragons) (giants allowed)

Q. Can we play alphas/giants?
A. Yes! You will have to provide a second application in order to play giants. This included anything the size of a grisly gutbluster and larger!Q. What if I can’t make the roleplay?
A. We will have a channel for any and all roleplay updates for you! We also try to give around a weeks notice for when our next session isQ. How many roles are there?
A. We have no specified roles, other than human and dragon. Neither of these roles have limits except for giant dragons. Though usually humans are always more needed!Q. Can I host my roleplays in this server?
A. Yes! You will need to provide an application to become a roleplay host, where you will then be able to advertise any short term roleplays you host!Q. What’s the difference between short and long term roleplays?
A. A short term roleplay would be considered the normal roleplay in distant isles, hosted in one day, ended in the same day. Our long term roleplays are done through multiple sessionsQ. Will the plot ever change?
A. Yes! Whenever the roleplay begins to die out, we will host a poll on what kind of roleplay plot everyone would like to do nextQ. Can I invite my friends?
